Water Programs

"SNOW---Winter's Water" Grades K-3 (Mary and Mar) The program uses the poem "Snowflakes" to introduce snow as part of the water cycle. It also promotes discussion of the benefits and possible hazards of snow for plants, animals, and people. Learn more about snow crystals.

"THE LIFE AND TIMES OF WALLY RAINDROP" Grades K-2 (Mary and Karen) Students learn the water cycle as seen through the eyes of Wally. Through creative movement, students act out "a day in the life of Wally".

"WEATHER WATCH" Grades K-6 (Mary and Mar) Grades K-2: The "Weather Masters"myth illustrates the roles of air, sun, water, and earth in weather formation. Basic water cycle and northern Arizona climate information is included. Grades 3-6: An introduction to weather patterns and formation, with a focus on fronts. Students work with current national weather maps and give weather predicting a try.
