"DIRTY SNOWBALLS, AKA: COMETS" Grades 2-8 (Karen) Witness the making of a comet and discover their relatively simple ingredients. See slides of our most recent visible visitor, Comet Hale-Bopp. Explore the motion and tails of comets, and learn more about early and recent observers of these celestial travelers.

"STELLAR STORIES AND CONSTELLATIONS" Grades 2-8 (Karen) Cultures from around the globe have tried to understand and explain the sky throughout time. Explore early myths and tales of the night sky, and take a closer look at prominent constellations of the northern hemisphere in a short slide show. Follow up with an astronomical activity.

"OUR SOLAR SYSTEM" Grades K-2 (Mary) Introduces the nine planets in the solar system, focusing on the concepts of rotation and revolution. Includes a slide show and song. Grades 3-8 (Mary) An introduction the solar system and other celestial phenomena.

"MOONTELLERS" Grades K-8 (Mary) Listen to moon stories from other cultures, see a demonstration of the moon s phases, and learn about the history of lunar exploration.
